Meeteetse can look forward to happy and healthy future generations!
More than 50 Meeteetse children took swim lessons in their pool this summer. The pool received a special grant that allowed its temporary operation.
The passing of Cap Tax II will help provide for the renovation and survival of the Meeteetse pool, a vital resource to southern Park County. Proceeds will be used for the following improvements:

Replacement of the pool deck and pool surface

Upgrades to the pool boiler system

Improved pool ventilation

Replacement of the roof

ADA accessible entrances

ADA accessible locker rooms and showers

Upgrade lobby into exercise area

Transform laundry into activity room

New therapy pool
-
New wading pool for tots
-
New energy efficient lighting
Renovation plan for the Meeteetse pool.
The estimated cost for all these improvements is $1.5 million dollars. Combined with the $500,000 operating and maintenance endowment, the total amount sought for the Meeteetse pool from the cap tax is $2 million.
